I have completed the new UW run 10-12 times been inside Furnace like 20 times and I have gotten a total of ZERO green drops. In fact the best thing I got out of the new UW so far is a scroll. SO join the crowd man.

I could say I'm unlucky, but just like good things, all bad things come to an end as well (for me, at least)

I did over 60 UW runs and got like 14 ectos. Unlucky? Perhaps but 14 ectos are always better then 0.

I did SF (with 4 henchies) like 30x, and got 1 green item (Grognar's Sword), You could say I'm unlucky but I DO get some rare items, and that's why I guess it's all at random.

(I now have a farming spot where I get like 2 sup runes a day, so I've found my "luck spot"

)

What do I want to say? Don't be a pessemist and look at the things you DO get, instead of drooling at other people's stuff. And never be discouraged by bad drops. Just hang on and you'll see that luck finds you one day

I have only had time to do new UW once. I got a green drop (Earth staff), but lagged out literally just before I could pick it up. It's still there, sitting on the floor of the Underworld, calling out my name and crying.

anet's way of rewarding the "casual" player, time spent playing affects drop value. Have a week off and surprise yourself.

This is to everyone, dont make a run, and begin another just seconds later in the same area...
U will take less drops, and less chances to find better itens... i think something how half...

I had unbelievable luck last night.

Did 2 ettin runs (filling up my inventory with about 20 blue/purp/gold pauldrons each run) and each time the breakdown was about:
15 gold
4 purple
1 blue

A few whites inbetween, but what was really amazing was one group of 3 all dropped rare pauldrons.

Logged onto my other account, did a few passes and nothing.

Thank god my first account is a lucky one

My luck....

One sorrow furnace run with 4 peoples (1 necro dropped so just me and two monks and SS necro) We took down bunch of enemies and when Rago came running, we slaughtered him too. After he died, all three of his weapons dropped. Two were for me (wand and kindlerock back when both combined were 80k) My next lucky day were on my second ever completed run into the new tomb, we killed off all three bosses. The first bosses drop me the Victo's Blade, than the second mesmer boss dropped the Battle Axe for me all in one run. Ever since, i don't want to farm tomb again unless i want that Victo's shield to complete the set.

But its law of average and number. I haven't play like 5+ hours a day in fact, i only played like combined 6 hours per weeks the most. So if you want like, farm at some place else or take a nice vacation than come back in a week or so to see if you get better drops.
